Apartment Tour
Welcome to my apartment!
This is as close as I could get to a view of my entire apartment in one photo! This is my entry way / living room / kitchen / what you see when you walk in. It’s super colorful and very Jane!
Entryway (Left Side) & Bathroom Door
When you walk in, the bathroom is immediately to the left. That’s the door with the corgi heart butt print!
I also have a little entry way with hooks where I keep my purses and hats and mask, etc. I also have a punch needle rainbow that I made and a print that says “it’s ok to do nothing” which I think is a very important reminder.
Entryway (Right Side) + Bedroom Door
Immediately to the right when you walk in you see my bedroom door, which has a flag on it that says “the magic is in you”.
Next to that door is a cabinet where I keep lots of stuff! It mostly serves as extra kitchen storage because (as you’ll see…) my kitchen is very tiny and the cabinets are hard for me to reach. I recently put pink acrylic sheets in the windows of the cabinet as a fun little DIY! I am totally in love with how it turned out!
Couch & Gallery Wall
This is where I spend the majority of my time in my apartment: the couch! It’s a cute little loveseat with lots of pillows beneath a gallery of some of my favorite art prints (and a punch needle hoop of Mac!)
You can also see another one of my favorite pieces in the apartment: my bright pink rug!
Plants and Yarns
As we keep panning to the left we have the first big window in my apartment, yay light! This is where I keep my live plants (any other plants you see in my apartment are fake because they wouldn’t get enough light). You can also see the shelves where I keep my yarn to the left of the window!
The Fireplace
Here she is. The main event: my (non-functioning) fireplace! It has pink tiles and a great decorative mantle that I’ve loaded up with tons of artwork, neon pink candles, neon pink unicorn string lights, and a little disco ball! This is the focal point of my apartment and I love it so much. Sometimes I just sit on my couch and stare at it. I’m not kidding.
Reading Nook
To the left of the fireplace is the second big window! This window is home to my Big Blue Chair where I sometimes read or work on punch needles. If you look really closely you can also see another one of my favorite pieces in the apartment: a lamp shaped like a bunny rabbit with little ears poking out from the top of the shade.
Bookshelves & TV
Next up is the entertainment center: aka a TV and a bunch of books! As you can tell, rainbows are a big theme in my apartment. I have my books arranged in color order which isn’t very practical but thanks to my photographic memory I can find my books according to color instead of author!
From Living Room to Kitchen
Here is where my living room starts to transition into my kitchen! I mostly just included this photo to help you understand the layout of the big living space… keep scrolling for more on the kitchen.
Tiny Kitchen
Here’s my tiny little kitchen! I’ve made the best of what I’ve got and, like everything else in the apartment, I’ve loaded it up with lots of decorations. On the right is a beverage station and the left is bar seating. As you can see I don’t have a single inch of counter space – just a fridge, a sink, and a stove top, so the table does double duty as a space to eat and prep.
Drink Station
Here’s my little beverage station where I keep my Keurig and sparkling water maker! The cabinets contain my mugs and teas and some other kitchen tools that I don’t use as much like my blender. The artwork that I have hanging above it is a collection of some of my favorite Playbills!
Bedroom / Office
Ok! Warning: this part of my apartment is under HEAVY CONSTRUCTION. It is far from done and has lots of room for improvement.
When you walk into my bedroom I have a big mirror on a bench and my desk. I have a new desk chair and a computer monitor being delivered soon! I’m also gonna put up artwork above my desk, of course.
Closet
To the right of my bedroom door is my closet. It’s actually a really big closet, thankfully! I have space to hang clothes as well as fitting my entire dresser IN the closet. On the back of the door I also have a hanging storage rack that I keep all my shoes in. It doesn’t photograph well so I didn’t take a picture but here you can see the earrings I’ve been collecting since I got my ears pierced this year!
Sad, Boring Bed :(
This is the saddest photo in this entire series!! I am currently searching for artwork for the walls and new bedding. I will update you as soon as I have this figured out which will hopefully be soon!!!
More Storage!
Despite my giant closet, I needed more storage! These shelves/drawers are where I keep smaller things like socks and hats and tote bags. I also have some more artwork and books on top, as well as some office supplies like pens and such!
Bathroom
And last but not least, my bathroom! Small and simple and, of course, lots of pink! I love my shower curtain, it makes me smile every time I see it.
This is the end of the tour!! Come again soon :)
